In many ways John Fruin's career encapsulates the major changes in treasury and finance. He started as an investment banker, moved to Growmark (where he still works) as a financial analyst, then moved to treasury and, ultimately, FP&A.

Mr. John Fruin serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer of CardSoft, Inc. Mr. Fruin has over 25 years of senior management experience in magazines, software publishing and Internet companies. As Chief Executive Officer of Pinpoint Publishing, publisher of cooking and recipe management software, he led the turn around effort the culminated in the sale of the company. As Chief Financial Officer at Macromind and ArtToday, he participated in extensive venture capital and M&A activity. Mr. Fruin is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
